This "Bella Ciao" rotation showcases a distinctive bean from Rwanda as part of our Solidarity Supply Chain Pledge.
Grown by the Abadatezuka Cooperative, a group of smallholder farmers in Rwanda's Western Province, this coffee's unique flavor profile can be attributed largely to pollination by the native honeybees of Nyungwe forest (Africa's most preserved forest and a site of rich biodiversity), a cool lake-affected climate, and the black humus and sandy soil in which it is grown. Bourbon variety, 1850–2200 masl, washed process.
"Bella Ciao: The Solidarity blend, named after the classic Italian protest song that's captivated generations.
